Hi I’m Samantha, call me Sam.
I’m the salon owner of Samantha Jane Hairdressing who opened the salon in 2011 with a dream.

I wanted to be a hairdresser from a very young age with my zig zag scissors at aged 8 on my dolls, it was my dream job.
I started off as a Saturday girl at the age of 14 at SAKS and fell in love, I’m now 38!!! You do the maths 🫣

With 24 years of experience I’m still so passionate about my job and enjoy all aspects of hairdressing. I eat sleep and breathe hairdressing, Cutting being one of my favourite things to do. Oh and talking!!

My dream since opening has always been to create a happy relaxed and fun salon, where my clients feel comfortable and leave feeling refreshed and transformed.
I’ve always believed a happy team creates a happy workplace we are all close friends, like family.

Once my 5 children were in full time school I went back to college myself to further my education, skills and knowledge.
I’m now a fully qualified assessor and just completed my qualification in teaching to be an educator 2 years ago.
I do days in Kleek College, teaching and delivering training to the learners on guest spots.
I love all training and helping others gain confidence to succeed which keeps me up to date to help my girls more with training in salon.

Training is a massive part of the salon, I love seeing my girls get creative with any new ideas and inspiration in all aspects of hairdressing which makes everyone more confident and gives them the drive to succeed, i believe it keeps the passion and excitement alive and I love to watch my girls have the determination to thrive.

Lucy has just been rewarded Stylist of the Year in North East England.
With over 5 years of experience on the shop floor, she continues to impress with new colour, cuts and modern styles.
She has worked as part of an award winning salon team for the duration of her career.
Her passion for her work grows every day, and loves nothing more than sending her clients home with a new found confidence.

Anna is a true talent and an excellent junior stylist. She is a total perfectionist and gives 100% to every client and service she provides.
Specialising in blondes, Anna can create the most stunning balayage, highlights or platinum card, whichever her client decides. Not only is she fantastic at creating the perfect blonde, Anna is equally amazing at cutting and styling. From bouncy blow dries to complete restyles.
